Nominations are now being accepted for the 2017 Innovations in Special Education Awards, which honor exemplary programs for special education students.

Nomination forms are now available for the 16th annual Innovations awards. Entries must be received in the New Jersey School Boards Association office in Trenton by 4:30 p.m., Monday, April 3.

The awards program, which recognizes the best in programs for special education students, is sponsored by NJSBA and ASAH, the Association of Schools and Agencies for the Handicapped, which represents private special education schools.

Selected programs will be honored at a special event held in conjunction with Special Education Week in New Jersey, May 14-20, 2017.
